| Suzanne Gindin comes to us most recently from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL where she completed her doctorate in conducting as a student of Victor Yampolsky. | |
Ms. Gindin graduated high school from Interlochen Arts Academy and earned two bachelor's degrees from Northwestern University, one in Music education and one in English Literature. Her master's degree in conducting comes from the University of Oregon, where she studied with Robert Ponto. Her PhD is from Northwestern University. |

| Her five years of school teaching experience includes work in general music and choir for grades pre k-8, as well as band and orchestra for grades 5-12. She currently teaches in the Music Department at Manchester College. For two summers, Ms. Gindin was accepted into the conducting master-class at the Oregon Bach Festival where she worked with Helmut Rilling preparing and performing such masterworks as the Christmas Oratorio by Bach and Mozart's Requiem. | |
She served as the assistant conductor of Kenilworth Union Church in Kenilworth, IL and as assistant conductor for the Metropolis Youth Symphony in Arlington Heights, IL. |
